Privacy Policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
Scope
This notice describes information handling for Charles Plouf — Collected Works, operated by James Plouf at charlesplouf.com. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to james@skullsociety.com.
Browsing the gallery
The gallery does not collect visitor information or email addresses. It does not require an account and has no checkout, newsletter form, contact form, or public uploads. Its application code does not add advertising pixels or visitor analytics, and does not store gallery selections in cookies or browser storage. Artwork images are served with the site.
Hosting and technical information
The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites and its infrastructure providers. Delivering and protecting a website involves processing technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, request times, and error or security events. Hosting providers may retain operational logs or use security technologies under their own policies. This notice does not promise that browsing is anonymous or that the hosting platform stores no data.
When you contact us
If you email the operator, your email provider and ours process that correspondence. We receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond, investigate concerns, and maintain relevant records. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or identity documents unless specifically needed and requested.
Use, disclosure, and retention
Information is used to operate and secure the gallery, respond to requests, resolve rights concerns, and meet legal obligations. Relevant information may be handled by hosting and email service providers or disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. Correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed for those purposes; provider log retention is governed by the provider. We do not sell contact information or use it for targeted advertising.
Choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by the operator by emailing james@skullsociety.com. Rights depend on applicable law, and some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. We may request proportionate verification before releasing personal information. Browser privacy controls can limit cookies and other storage. The gallery has no application-level advertising or cross-site tracking to disable.
Children, security, and updates
This is a general-audience art gallery and does not solicit personal information from children. If a child has sent personal information, a parent or guardian can contact us to request deletion. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own. We will revise this notice when practices change and show the revision date here.
